You would think that after years of people becoming increasingly more depressed at the holidays that they would have realized it is in direct correlation to all the effing TV shows going into reruns. If they would just play some new freaking TV, then all the lonely folks who would otherwise off themselves during the holidays could watch a new episode of Smallville or Two and a Half Men and not focus on the fact that they have no one to spend the holidays with. And they try to appease all these sad grownups by loading the airwaves with holiday classics that remind them of a time when they weren't fucking alone on Christmas!!! Hell, I have people to spend the holidays with, but I would be much happier if I could have some new naked Dean or hilarious Bones to boost my yuletide spirit. Honestly I can't see the majority of the people being so busy that they wouldn't tune in for House. Grrrrrrrrrr.

( Cranky BONES Rant )But in excellent recasting news, the incredibly handsome Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) is now a regular member of the Smallville cast and Clark has finally given up the farm life for Metropolis.  If they play their cards right, the S man will be flying by the season end.  Somehow I figure Lois will have something to do with that.
Hopefully the VP debate will not interfer with the Smallville/ Supernatural love fest I have going on every Thursday.   As interested as I am to hear her speak, I really just dont give a flying rats ass.

Tomorrow is Bones (yeah) and hopefully more Zack-y.    But I'll take whatever I can get.  Watching TV seems to be my biggest joy at the moment - my reward for being so damn productive. 
I am going to be making some band and horror cuffs tomorrow, as well as a few more bags.  Please channel happy ebay shopper thoughts for me.

In other non-TV news, I am working on some DiY bags for Ebay (and maybe Etsy) that feature Edward Cullen eyecandy and lots of emo star bling.     I think I will stick with the recycled clothing theme.    Hopefully I can generate some income to keep me from perusing the job market.   I really really really really really dont want to find a job (if one suddenly appeared, I would work it, no sweat, but I hate having to get a job.)

Back to the TV (cause my life is that full folks), E is watching Grease 2 [damn, now you know my deepest darkest secret] and loving every minute of it.    That is better than DNA proof that she is my kid.   I think I am the only person in the world that likes that movie (or at least the only person pathetic enough to admit it).   But where else are you going to get ninety minutes of bikers, bowlers and British exchange students.      And dont forget Biker Heaven!!   "Stephanie, don't forget me!"

As the new owner of a digital converter box,  I have been enjoying the expanded channels afforded me with this fancy new technology:  ABC, NBC, some God channels.  [not CBS, they suck]
anywho -   Today, I start watching ABC and WNBA basketball. It was a first for me and I actually found the game more interesting than the NBA games I have seen in the past, so score one for the ladies.    When that was over, Indy GrandPrix racing came on and I dozed on the couch (because GrandPrix racing is only cool if Mario the Plumber is driving a car).   All during the telecast, they kept advertising NASCAR on ABC at 7pm that night.   So I'm thinking Sweet, I havent seen a race in a while and it is mindless entertainment.  
So I suffer the the news and 6pm rolls around.  AFV comes on; it was torturous, but I figure 7pm must have actually meant 7pm instead of the standard 6 central.
But no, 7pm rolls around and it is the fucking do-gooders with their "we wanna build you a house because you are go fucking cool" show.   No fucking Nascar.  
So, I didnt see any Nascar, the digital signal for FOX was fucked up and I am quite pissy at the moment about television in general.  
At least there will be a new Bones this week.
